War Studies Research Opportunity
The Department of War Studies at King’s College London is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work with Professor Claudia Aradau on a project examining the political lives of data forms, flows and frictions in the context of enacting border security in the digital age.
The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent knowledge of qualitative research methods, particularly ethnographic and interviewing methods, prior experience with conducting fieldwork, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills, and will be expected to speak at least one of the following languages: Arabic, Greek, Italian, Spanish, or Turkish. They will be expected to work on the project for 2 years, and will be given opportunities to develop their own research interests as part of the program of work.
