Postdoctoral Opportunity Researching Refugees: Oxford University
The Department of International Development at the University of Oxford is seeking candidates for a postdoctoral researcher position working on a BA-funded project on Borders, global governance and the refugee, 1947-51.
The successful candidate will undertake research into the origins of the global refugee regime, the historical role of the UK, and the significance of regional refugee crises in the Global South in the late 1940s. This will build on their doctoral experience researching issues such as international political history, forced migration, or refugee issues.
This is a fixed term position beginning in September 2020 and running until September 2021 at 0.8 FTE with a salary of £32,817 pro rata. Please apply by 12 noon (UK Time) on Wednesday 19th August 2020.
