PhD Studentships: Cybersecurity, IoT, Sensors, and Autonomous Vehicles
The Dawes Centre for Future Crime at UCL and UCL SECReT are offering five studentships with a September 2020 start for three or four year programmes in MRes+PhD.
While open topic submissions are welcome (if you would like to check the suitability of your proposed topic before submitting an application please email Professor Shane Johnson at shane.johnson@ucl.ac.uk), a list of pre-set topics have also been proposed, with topics including: Measuring and countering breaches and information theft facilitated by the IoT, Anticipating and governing new threats around autonomous vehicles, and Development of Novel Dry-tagging Technologies.
These awards are open to Home/EU fee paying students, and each award covers full stipend of approx. £17,500 per annum for three or four years, full Home/EU fees, plus conference travel/project funds of £1000 per annum.
