European Commission to strengthen excellence in research through Horizon 2020

The European Commission aims to strengthen excellence in research and science through Horizon 2020 with a budget of around £60 billion.  The funds will be allocated through a competitive process, with over 14,000 applications submitted so far.

To help researchers learn the step-by-step process on how to develop a successful application to receive the funding, Inside Government is holding the Utilising Horizon 2020 Funding to Produce Excellence in Research on 10th February 2016 in central London.

The bespoke Horizon 2020 event will have expert speakers examine best practice case studies on how to access funding, and be part of innovative cross-sector partnerships.  The session will also show how Horizon 2020 funding bidders can demonstrate their project’s impact and outcome to the European Commission.
