Civil War Paths Research Opportunity
The Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Sheffield is seeking three candidates to join a team researching Understanding Civil War from Pre- to Post-War Stages: A Comparative Approach under the supervision of Dr Anastasia Shesterinina.
The successful candidates will have experience of qualitative data collection, foreign language skills, and have or be near to obtaining a doctoral degree in a field such as Politics, Development Studies, Geography, History, or Journalism. The successful candidates will contribute to research into the paths civil wars follow, and will work on one or more of the following regions: Latin America, the Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe.
Successful candidates are expected to begin work in October 2021.
