Home Office – Security and Policing 2018
Tuesday 6 – 8 March 2018 | Farnborough, Hampshire
Security and Policing is the UK’s premier technology-focused security and law enforcement event. Since its inception over 30 years ago, it has provided a platform for senior professionals, both from the UK and across the world, to engage with the very best suppliers of equipment. This closed and secure event is free to attend with visitors and exhibitors undertaking a vetting process prior to admission. Security and Policing has continuously developed in size and scope and exists to provide the high level of industry engagement needed to support the UK government, and its agencies, to deliver national priorities.
The event is aimed primarily at police, security and resilience professionals who undertake physical and cyber security, civil protection, law enforcement, national resilience, surveillance and investigation. UK and international senior police officers, the wider UK emergency services, senior Home Office officials, government security agencies and Ministry of Defence officials and officers are invited to attend.
Security and Policing highlights world-leading products and services. It enables users with operational needs and companies that have the relevant solutions to engage, with many exhibitors using it as a key opportunity to showcase their new products for the first time. The unique nature of this event enables exhibitors to display products that may be too sensitive to show in a more open environment. Security and Policing is a Home Office-owned event and organised by a private company, the Aerospace, Defence and Security (ADS) Group, working with the Home Office’s Centre for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) and the Office of Security and Counter Terrorism (OSCT), together with the Department for International Trade (DIT). CAST drives the event design and delivery, and hosts the proceedings with DIT and OSCT.
Please visit the Security and Policing website to register your attendance. This is also where further information is regularly uploaded regarding the briefing programmes, the government zone, live and immersive demonstrations, and exhibitors.
