IAAC Symposium – The Citizen in the Internet of Things

The Information Assurance Advisory Council is hosting its Annual Symposium with the theme ‘The Citizen in the Internet of Things’. 

The symposium will explore issues relating to information security and privacy in an increasingly online world.  Paddy McGuinness, Deputy National Security Advisor, Intelligence, Security and Resilience will deliver a keynote address, and panel discussions will include Robert Cole, CISO of GlaxoSmithKline and Eric van der Kleij, MD of ENTIQ and Head of level 39.  In addition there will be presentations from CESG, DCMS and Cabinet Office. A poster competition will also take place, showcasing some of the latest thinking in the IA arena.
