PaCCS Policy Briefing: Maximising Impact from Serious Organised Crime Research

Serious organised crime presents an urgent and complex challenge that the academic research community has substantial capacity to address. 

In our latest PaCCS Policy Briefing, launched today, we share insights into how policymakers and practitioners can better understand and undermine serious organised crime, drawing on the findings which emerged from our recent conference on Maximising Impact from Serious Organised Crime Research. Throughout this briefing, readers will encounter the strategic and systemic challenges faced by those seeking to combat transnational organised crime. We then present opportunities to improve responses through the ‘5Cs’ of Culture, Comprehension, Communication, Capacity, and Capabilities.
