Protecting citizens online project opportunity

UKRI is pleased to announce the opportunity to apply for funding to research the needs of citizens online, help them control how their data is used and protect them from online harms. This is the second phase of the UKRI PCO call, which will support four projects worth £11 million. The initial outline stage is now open, closing on 6 July 2021 16:00 BST, and the closing date for compulsory expressions of interest is 22 June 2021 16:00 BST.

Projects should align with the National Research Centre on Privacy, Harm Reduction and Adversarial Influence Online, must be interdisciplinary, and must be comprised of UK-based researchers.
