PhD scholarships: Institute of Cyber Security for Society
The Institute of Cyber Security for Society at the University of Kent is seeking candidates for 3 year funded PhD studentships at the home-rate. A successful candidate could work with Dr Sanjay Bhattacherjee on problems in game theory or theoretical aspects of cryptology and blockchains; with Dr Virginia Franqueira on digital forensic methods, online child protection, cyberstalking, or security in smart cities; or with Dr Gareth Mott on issues in the politics and international relations of cybersecurity such as cyber extremism and cyber inequalities.
Funding is available for 3 years at the current home fee rate of £4,500 per annum together with a maintenance grant of £15,609 per annum.
