Research Assistant Opportunity: Police Accountability
The University of Dundee is seeking candidates for a Research Assistant to conduct ESRC-funded research on Police Accountability as part of the POLACS project, which investigates and compares complaints procedures against police personnel in the UK, Germany, France, Canada and Japan, to identify best practice and procedural problems, as well as to set minimum standards for viable complaints structures.
The successful candidate will require a mix of academic and communications skills, including strong skills in data collection, a completed PhD in a relevant discipline, experience of academic research into policing, and the ability to build and maintain a website and social media engagement.
