COVID-19 and its Impact on Euro Atlantic Security

COVID-19 threatens to reshape the global security environment and the Euro Atlantic world that emerged in 1989. On May 21st, an expert panel organised by the London School of Economics will discuss the future of NATO and the critical US/Europe security partnership from which the western alliance draws its strength.

Speakers include:

James Everard served as the Deputy Chief of Defence Staff for Military Strategy and Operation (UK), Commander UK Field Army and finally as the Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe (NATO).

Nathalie Tocci (@NathalieTocci) is Director of the Istituto Affari Internazionali and is special adviser to the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell.

Peter Watkins is an Associate Fellow for Chatham House and a Visiting Senior Fellow with LSE IDEAS.

Michael Cox is Director of LSE IDEAS and Emeritus Professor of International Relations at LSE.
