Website Launch: Trusted Research

The Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CNPI) has launched a new website for researchers. The website focuses on providing guidance to academics on how to protect their research while supporting the integrity of the system of international research collaboration. The website is home to advice on how to protect intellectual property, sensitive research and personal information.

It addresses challenges facing researchers navigating supply chain and partner organization security. Furthermore, it provides resources on how to manage cyber security, unauthorized access monitoring, overseas collaborations, and staying safe when travelling.

The website can help researchers assess how much of a target they might be; possible sources of risk to research; and information about why protecting research matters.

The CNPI website also hosts tool kits to help with evaluating new research proposals, managing a digital footprint, and crisis management for terrorist related events.
