Reformers and Intellectual Reformulation in Contemporary Islam

The Reformers and Intellectual Reformulation in Contemporary Islam conference is a collaboration between the Study of Religions at SOAS, the School of History at Queen Mary University and the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter.
It investigate the patterns of change and reformulation in contemporary Islamic thought. It will provide an opportunity to identity and compare the reform programmes of Muslim thinkers.
The conference will include a public lecture by Professor Muhammad Qasim Zaman of Princetown University.
