Briefing Day on Horizon2020 Secure Societies Challenge for Security Research 2017

Horizon 2020 is the European Commission’s instrument for funding research. As the Commission has now launched the 2017 Secure Societies Challenge for Security research, ADS as the RISC Secretariat have been asked to facilitate this Home Office UK briefing day for industry and academia.

The briefing will incorporate presentations from the Home Office, the European Commission, Innovate UK, and industry on the content of the call, the bidding process, forming a consortium, and end-user engagement. There will also be the opportunity to network over lunch. The UK Government has stated that it will continue to fund UK organisations who have an approved project at the point that the UK formally leaves the EU, and so the Government and Trade Associations are strongly encouraging participation in this research call from UK organisations.

The event is free to attend and numbers are limited (maximum of two representatives per organisation). A full agenda and joining instructions will be issued to registered attendees a week before the event.
