Addressing the Cyber Security Skills Shortage: Cyber Apprenticeships

The Tech Partnership, a network of employers working to create skills for the UK’s digital economy, is developing a new degree-level apprenticeship focusing on cyber security that proposes to develop a BSc (Hons) Cyber Security Technical Professional degree apprenticeship over the next year, with a view to teaching a range of deep technical skills.
The event will be held by techUK, in collaboration with the Tech Partnership, to update members on:
– The published standards for Cyber Intrusion Analyst and Cyber Security Technologist (both Level 4)
– The draft cyber degree apprenticeship standard
– Further Governmental work on the wider issue of cyber apprenticeships
